On December 21st, "Shiseido Talks" on the corporate website of Shiseido Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shiseido") featured Nozomi Oguchi, Manager of the Raw Materials Development Department, Development Promotion Center, Brand Value Development Institute, and Yuhito Ito, Raw Materials Development Group. will participate in MATSURI as one of its actions to realize a recycling-oriented society. An interview article about taking on challenges and strategies with an eye to the future through algae has been published.
Mr. Oguchi and Mr. Ito also attended the opening ceremony of C4, the world's largest algae cultivation facility, in Sarawak, Malaysia, in April 2023, together with Vice President Okabe, and they spent much of their interview talking about MATSURI, C4, and algae. He introduced us to the topic and talked about the future of cosmetics using algae.
