On Thursday, October 3rd, Tomohiro Fujita, CEO of Chitose Group, gave a lecture at an internal study session of TOA CORPORATION (hereinafter referred to as TOA CORPORATION). TOA CORPORATION has been participating in MATSURI, a project to create a new society based on algae, since September 2023. In MATSURI, TOA CORPORATION is looking forward to the potential of microalgae and aims to explore new possibilities in the construction industry. More than 30 people, including CEO Hayakawa and other members of the management team, attended this lecture.

In this lecture, Fujita spoke about his goals from the perspective of creating businesses from social issues, using the examples of businesses he has launched within the Chitose Group. During the Q&A session, there was a discussion on "key points for launching a new business" and "ideas for algae production facilities," and it was clear that the lecture attracted the interest of many people.

We hope that this lecture will help advance collaboration between TOA CORPORATION and Chitose Group in the activities of MATSURI.
