We introduced the MATSURI project at the ADEME-NEDO joint seminar.

The Chitose Group will introduce the MATSURI project at a joint seminar by NEDO*1 and ADEME*2 held in Dunkirk, France on Monday, November 20, 2023, and will introduce the MATSURI project, which utilizes algae biomass in its entirety and develops various products ( He explained to the participants the necessity and importance of expanding into fuels.

This seminar was held under the theme of "decarbonization of the industrial sector using hydrogen" and was held to discuss the efforts of the government and private companies, and the seminar was able to promote awareness and understanding in the European region.

This 17th seminar will be held in a face-to-face format due to the end of the coronavirus pandemic, and Aiko Hayashi, a bioengineer from the Chitose Group and Hachitose Research Institute, will be on stage.
He passionately presented his desire to build an algae industry through concrete examples of potential, such as the progress of the MATSURI project's objectives, future expansion potential, and the use of algae-derived SAF, and gained much sympathy and support from the participants.

The MATSURI project will continue to assert the essential significance of eliminating fossil resources on the world stage, and will continue to work with many stakeholders to build an algae industry.
